I handle all aspects of family law, including disputes over child custody and marital property in divorce, paternity, child support, and child visitation. I also represent adults and juveniles of DuPage and Kane Counties who have been charged with misdemeanor crimes or traffic offenses.

I have provided quality legal services for more than 18 years. My entire legal career has been dedicated to helping people get through complex family law and criminal legal matters. I founded my Wheaton, Illinois practice in 1999, after serving ten years as a prosecutor for DuPage County, Illinois. That background not only honed my litigation skills but provided unique insights into the family courts and criminal justice system that directly benefits my clients. I am a skilled negotiator and trial lawyer, while also offering flexibility to my clients.

I drafted legislation for the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act and subsequently testified before the Illinois State Legislature in support of the needed changes.
